Thanks Pia, Anon and Owen! I am beginning to realize how vulnerable I am in certain areas. I used to think I had a pretty solid grounding in faith and was ready to deal with whatever life threw at me. I weathered a lot of storms but this past year has sucked a lot out of me for some reason. It has made me realize that I’m not as strong as I thought I was. Thank God for friends and family. That is likely how God manifests himself.

Overall, this sounds like good news, Terry. Just remember this is the only body you’re going to get in this life, and that it temples the Indwelling, the Holy of Holies, and that, thus, you have a responsibility/duty to speak up for what works for it. Your doc doesn’t sound like one who is easily upset or unwilling to listen to your input, so go forward and be honest about what you think might be best, as you’ve stated right here.
